    • <span><span>As a regular visitor House Libray used to read and write a lot. Besides writing articles for Daily Tribune and many magazines from 1953 to 1960. I had been working on philosophy of Prof. Laski who was my ideal as of many of my generation. I wrote a chapter on Prof. Laski and showed it to Dr. M S Venketaraman who was Additional Director of School of International Studies.He very much appreciated and so started studying and writing on Laski. This book about Pluralist Philosophy of Laski is very relevant in India and newly developing coutries of Asia and Africa.Most of these poems was written originally in Punjabi and published as 'PAYAR TE ROSSA'. The present volumes mentions poems on reverence and pure love and intense sorrow. Reverence for parents and Guru Nanak come first then poem about pure love for wife, family, my country and humanity. Some poems are about my reaction to conquest of moon, my own feelings about aim of ones life, love and sacrifice. As I was moved the most by attack on Golden Temple and demolition of Babri Masjid there poems are symbolic of heart rendering sorrow.</span></span>

    • Har Charan Singh born in 1930 in Quetta (Now in Pakistan). Had early education in Peshawar Cantt. After Independence passed BA (Hons) Economics from Mahindra College Patiala. Thereafter studied in Allahabad University and passed MA in International Relations in 1952.He had visited England and France in 1947 as member of Indian Scott Contingent to Paris. On Independence Day, 15th August 1947, he broadcast message of greetings to his countrymen on Radio Paris on behalf of Indian Scouts after Indian and Pakistan flags were hoisted in the campus, concluding the greetings with "Jai Hind". He served in ICAR for 30 years, retired as Senior Administrative Officer in 1984 and is leading retired life in Delhi.
