- Marian Füssel ist Professor für Geschichte der Frühen Neuzeit unter besonderer Berücksichtigung der Wissenschaftsgeschichte an der Georg-August Universität Göttingen. Zu seinen Forschungsschwerpunkten zählen die Universitäts- und Wissensgeschichte, die Geschichte von Krieg und Gewalt sowie die Theorie der Geschichte. Den theoretischen Schwerpunkt seiner Arbeit bildet die historische Anthropologie mit einem besonderen Fokus auf der Geschichte der Praktiken.
