They had to face servitude, hard labour and cruelty, which were followed by discrimination and oppression. Then they had to fight against racial problems and pressure. From that humble beginning, Indians succeeded to become a power that put a significant and remarkable point on South Africa. Since their arrival, they played an important role economically, socially and politically as well.
