- Carole Seymour-Jones was born in Towyn, North Wales and educated at Oxford and Sussex Universities. Her recent biography<i>Painted Shadow: The Life of Vivienne Eliot</i>was shortlisted for the Samuel Johnson prize. She lives with her partner in Surrey and London.
