- T. R. Smyth held academic appointments at many of Australia's foremost universities. In addition to the highly successful first edition of The Principles of Writing in Psychology, he authored The Psychology Thesis: Research and Coursework and Writing Psychology: A Student Guide. Amanda Le Couteur is Associate Professor, Psychology, at the University of Adelaide, where she is Co-Director of the Discourse and Social Psychology Unit and teaches in the fields of research methods and philosophy of science.
