The author of three books on Irish boxing, one on Tyrone football and one on soccer, his most recent book is Soldiers of Folly The IRA Border Campaign 19561962 (Cork, 2009). He works for BBC Radio Ulster as a sports correspondent and has contributed to RTE, INN and Newstalk
