- <p>Allie Spencer is an author with many strings to her bow. She gained a B.A. in English and Related Literature and an M.A. in Medieval Studies before reading for the Bar. She completed pupillage in London with a leading set of family law barristers and then joined a firm of solicitors as a matrimonial specialist.</p><p>She is the author of two novels:<i>Tug of Love</i>, which won the Romantic Novelists' Association New Writers' Scheme prize for the best debut of 2009 and was shortlisted for the 2010 Melissa Nathan Award for Comedy Romance, and<i>The Not-So-Secret Diary of a City Girl</i>.</p>
