    • Now these days Cancer is a major public health burden in both developed and developing countries. Skin cancer the abnormal growth of skin cells most often develops on skin exposed to the sun. But this common form of cancer can also occur on areas of your skin not ordinarily exposed to sunlight.Natural medicines have played a great role to treat various disorders in humans including cancer. Curcumin from rhizome curcuma longa used in the Indian and Chinese systems of medicines to treat wounds and sprains, gastrointestinal, pulmonary, and liver disorders. Many pharmacological studies have been conducted to describe multiple biological actions of curcumin. It is a popular spice and food additive widely used in South Asian and Middle Eastern countries.In the present study the in-vivo evaluations as a significant alteration of the various parameters in mice shows the potent anti-cancer and antioxidant activity of the curcumin. This study also reported the effect of curcumin by different routes of administration and comparative data of anti-cancer efficacy.
