- 'Religious Diversity' Amongst other things, due to expanding mobility religious and ideological diversity has increased. So less than ever one can speak of a homogenous society, especially when it comes to the European Countries. The conference on the topic 'Religious diversity - challenges for law' (15.-17.02.2016, Katholische Akademie Berlin) clarified that the system of state-church law is not extensive enough anymore. As it is currently tailored to the Catholic as well as to the Protestant Church, the state-church law has to open up to further churches and religious communities.

- In den Ländern Europas hat - unter anderem durch eine wachsende Mobilität - die Vielfalt der Religionen und Weltanschauungen zugenommen. Eine religiös homogene Gesellschaft gibt es weniger denn je. Eine Tagung mit dem Thema 'Religiöse Vielfalt - Herausforderungen für das Recht', die vom 15. bis 17. Februar 2016 in der Katholischen Akademie Berlin stattfand, zeigte, dass sich das bislang weithin auf die Katholische und Evangelische Kirche zugeschnittene System des deutschen Staatskirchenrechts in Richtung weiterer Kirchen und Religionsgemeinschaften öffnen muss.
